2024 Philadelphia Flower Show Bus Trip
Now in it’s 195th year, the 2024 Philadelphia Flower Show celebrates the unique and colorful community born out of our shared love and appreciation of gardening and the connections and impact they create on our everyday lives. “United by Flowers” runs from March 2 – 10, 2024 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This show is sponsored by the Philadelphia Horticulture Society and is a one-of-a-kind event known the globe over for its exquisite and immersive floral exhibits, world-class plant competitions, educational offerings, and shopping.
OAGC, Inc is sponsoring a 2024 bus trip, departing from central Ohio on Sunday March 3rd and returning Wednesday March 6th. The tour includes: round-trip transportation via Barons Bus motorcoach, three nights’ accommodations directly across the street from the Convention Center, three breakfasts at Convention hotel, a full day admission to the Flower Show, and all taxes and gratuities. Snacks and beverages will be available on the bus. This special tour costs: $665/person double occupancy; $615/triple occupancy and $990/person single occupancy. The bus capacity is 54, so reserve your spot early in order to join us.
With the exception of three Convention hotel breakfasts, meals are on your own. The bus will stop in route to Philadelphia and on the return home for a meal break. While in Philadelphia you will have many eating options to include the Convention Center itself, walking distance to the Reading Terminal Market, Chinatown Square, or you can head away from the Convention Center to some of the city neighborhoods.
We will be at the Flower Show on Monday March 4th. On March 5th, you have the options of selecting a second day at the Flower Show, or a bus tour (with stops) of Philadelphia, or a day on your own to explore.
For additional Flower Show experiences, you can purchase online tickets for optional events. See PHS Philadelphia Flower Show (phsonline.org) for more details. You can also sign-up for their email newsletter to see what will be happening during your Flower Show visit.
For those wishing to tour Philadelphia on March 5th, activity level includes getting on/off bus and walking up to two miles. Our stops will include Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Museum of the American Revolution, the Betsy Ross House, the Rocky Statue and Steps.
